Online enrollment is closed for 2018-2019.
New students are typically only admitted before the beginning of each new school year. Mid-year admissions are rare and are determined on a case by case basis. There is a one month admission grace period following the start of each semester within which time new students may be admitted. Following the end of this grace period, most cases will be deferred for acceptance until the start of the next semester.
If you would like to apply for mid-year admission for the 2018-2019 school year, please contact us and we can discuss if this is a possibility for your student.
The following are the steps that will be reqired for admission. The applications and required forms will be made available in January when enrollment opens for the 2019-2020 school year.
- Research and Pray
If offered admission to Providence, you will be required to sign a document indicating agreement with Providence's Statement of Faith. Please review our Statement of Faith to ensure there are no conflicts with your personal beliefs.
Research what it means for your child to be educated with the Classical Methodology and what a University-Model® school will mean for you and your family.
Pray. Prayerfully consider your family’s needs for education and whether those needs would best be met through a partnership with Providence Preparatory Academy.
- Submit Admission Applications
Families will submit ONE family application and a student application for EACH student.
Applications will be available for 2019-2020 in January.
- Pay Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of $75 per family is due at the time of application submittal.
- Finalize Application
This section outlines additional information you will be required to provide for admission to Providence.
The following forms will be available for 2019-2020 in January.
You will have your pastor or a church leader close to you complete and submit a Pastoral Reference.
For rising 1st grade and above, you will have the student's current teacher complete and submit the appropriate Student Evaluation Form. If your child is currently homeschooled, you will complete the form yourself.
For rising 3rd graders and above, you will provide a copy of the most recent report card and standardized test results.
- Family Interview and Placement Screening
Once the above steps have been completed, you will be contacted to schedule a family interview. We request that both parents and the applying student(s) attend the interview. If someone other than a parent will be teaching student(s) on the satellite days, they will also be required to attend the family interview.
The goal of this meeting is to ensure that the fit between your family and Providence Preparatory Academy is satisfactory so that this educational choice is a positive one for your family. Any final questions or concerns you may have will be addressed at this time. Placement screening will be administered at a later date.
